Fanlisting Updates

Hello everyone! Monday was my last day of school, so I am officially on summer vacation. Hopefully that will mean more updates here, right?

In the last few months I have technically “opened” a few fanlistings. Most of them are going to be tributes and therefore I haven’t linked them here yet since they are lacking information. However, they need tags so I guess I’ll plug them anyway. In order of approvals: EVER AFTER (Takanari & Haine), HEAVEN’S A LIE (Enma Ai), WEIGHT OF THE WORLD (Kanzato Ryo), and DREAMSCAPE (Taniyama Mai). All of them except for Mai will be full-scale tributes one of these days…but I’m not making any promises as to when.

I have a couple of things that I’d like to get done this summer. More, if possible, but I won’t try to say I’ll get all my projects done or anything like that. I’ll be content as long as I finish The Raven (Isayama Yomi) and Paint it Black (Aragaki Shinjiro). Yomi is almost done, so hopefully I’ll update with that as well as taking my domain off of hiatus soon. Shinji is technically close to being finished as well so maybe I’ll be able to fit in some other projects and/or revamps as well. Until then!

Results of my Break

Nope, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. Polaris’ revamp is actually FINISHED! Basically every single page has been redone (except some in game pages) and the content is re-organized. I added quite a few information pages as well, since I had so much to say about him. There are also a few more 48×48 and 100×100 avatars, a new wallpaper, and I added screen shots from the second and third OVA. Um…I think that may be it other than the fact it obviously got a new layout and moved to irisblade.org. My brain is pretty much fried, but I’m so happy that I can actually look at Polaris without cringing!

ASTRALWING has a new layout and has been updated to using the new enthusiast collective for my owned fanlistings. I have to rejoin all the fanlistings from when they were on my domain as well, so I’ll work on that very slowly… My wishlist has also been updated as I’ve been very lucky with approvals lately. Therefore, you can expect Ever After and Heaven’s a Lie to be coming up in the near future.

I’ve also decided to keep Venus Seal after all, so I’ll be moving her to the domain eventually along with Femme Fatale when I get around to it. But first I have to work on those upcomings…

So yeah, unfortunately that’s all I had time to do over my winter break. I go back to school tomorrow and I work every day on the weekend so I can’t guarantee when I’ll update again. I hope to get my domain back up soon though, so I’ll try to update ASAP.

It’s Been Some Time…

Hello everyone who may still be reading my updates log. (I’m surprised you haven’t given up yet!) As you may or may not have noticed, some big changes have been going on with my domain…so I should probably post an update so people aren’t too confused.

THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN CLOSED AND/OR ADOPTED OUT: Ninth Rising (/demyx), Gravity (/inuyasha), Kiss or Kill (/misa), Inconclusive (/naomi), Mystique Sign (/zodiac), Blackbird (/chitose), Venus Seal (/sheena), Sharp Shooter (/regret), Selenia (/lxt), Serenity (/kairi), Spirit Walk (/spirits), Mind Break (/telekinesis), Destiny Chain (/fate), Reflecting Heaven (/shana) … and I think that’s it.

Why? Well basically, all of those sites were just sitting around on my domain and hadn’t been updated in ages. With my life being pretty much consumed by college and work, I had to make the decision to keep/make tributes to my ABSOLUTE favorite things only. It’s going to be hard since I love websites and a lot of subjects, but it’ll just have to be that way from now on. I know people are pretty disappointed about things like Kairi and Misa, but I am a lot happier without having to worry about things sitting around on my domain.

Also, both tethealla.net and garudyne.net are going to close because I don’t have time to do all the Persona projects I wanted to, and I deleted most of my Tales sites so yeah. ~waste of money~ I suppose, but it was fun while they lasted.

Venus in the Dark, Hydrangea, Premonition, Love’s Like Pastries, Because of You, Grandeur and Glacialis have been moved to the “wing” sub domain as they are all only fanlistings for the time being. Astralwing will be updated accordingly in the near future. All of these have been converted to the newest version of Enthusiast.

Hymnaria, Obsidian, Heartplace, and Resonance have been moved to irisblade.org and have also been converted to the newest version of Enthusiast. Basically all four of these have face-lifts in store, so hopefully I’ll get to those soon.

The Last Sundown, Morning Glory and The Gate have also been converted. The later is going to be renamed to “Masquerade” and updated shortly as well. I hope.

And uhh, I guess all that is left to say for now is that I’m currently working on moving Polaris to irisblade.org with its long over-due revamp. It has to be done by the end of the month though, since I joined a layout marathon with it. XD;

Hopefully the main domain will be back up by January. I’ll continue to keep everyone posted!

I guess this is where I say, “oops”.

Oh yeah, I was supposed to update before school started, wasn’t I? Well that obviously didn’t happen (though I doubt many of you are surprised). I do have quite a few updates, but unfortunately Polaris is not one of them.

Venus in the Dark is a small tribute to Wakamatsu Madoka from Full Moon wo Sagashite. I was able to adopt the fanlisting from the awesome Inggrid, so it doubles as the approved fanlisting. Uhh not too much else to say about it. XD; There aren’t many sites dedicated to this series, so I’m happy to put one out there!

Mystique Sign is a dedication and approved fanlisting to the series Juunikyuu de Tsukamaete (Zodiac P.I.). I’m still working on the chapter summaries and the minor character guide, but that will be around eventually. It’s only a four volume series, so I don’t think it will be updated very much once it is finished. Either way, the series needs more love, so go look around~

TETHEALLA.NET is open again, though not like how I had planned. NAMCO is releasing a ton of new Tales of games, and I just can’t keep up with all that information. I’ve provided some goodies and (what will be) a review section, so it’s not completely empty, but it’s definitely NOT an information archive like I had hoped. :[

IRISBLADE.ORG has had two new layouts since I’ve posted last (I seriously need to remember to update here when I change things). It also has a new affiliate, so please visit heartaflutter.net. Mystique Sign, Venus in the Dark and The Gate have been added to my network page, and I’ve also added a new upcoming section to it. I’m buying a new domain this week for a different video game series collective (like I need another one, right?) so keep you eyes out for that.

ANOTHER SIDE has been brought up to date. As soon as I get a bit more space on my domain (I have a credit card now, woooo) I’m going to fix this up since it hasn’t been updated in ages other than adding layouts. I know how badly everyone misses being able to see layouts for sites I’ve closed.

I can’t really promise what’ll be coming up next, but I hope to get Polaris up ASAP. I’ve been playing too much Persona 3, so I really need to just sit down and finish that revamp! >O

Party for Productivity

Hey, so I was actually productive today! Hard to believe, right? These are all very minor updates minus one thing, but I am just getting a few things out of the way before I sit down and put construction tape all over Polaris.

Heartplace is more or less finished now, so I can finally “officially” call it open. This is my tribute to the relationship between Lloyd Irving and Colette Brunel from Tales of Symphonia. I have been “working” on this for quite some time since I was supposed to adopt the fanlisting a while back, but I finally sat down and finished it today. I have one more information page to add when I go back to my mom’s house and two more OVA gallery pages but those can wait a bit longer. Join if you are a fan!

VENUS SEAL has had its links page cleared through and updated as well as added Heartplace as an affiliate. I’m currently thinking of what I am going to do to update this in the near future.

GRAVITY has a new layout and has been tweaked a little bit set up wise. I added a bit more information to Kagome’s section now that the series has finally ended, but that’s about it.

SERENITY has a new layout and has been converted back to one site again for now as opposed to having different sites for her roles in the two games. Nothing else added to this either except some information on Kairi’s Japanese voice actress that was given to me by Josephine.

ANOTHER SIDE has been brought up to date with all layout changes/site deletions.

I have decided to kill off my giant linkage page that had domains and other various fandom links because I never really updated it and it was getting redundant anyway. Therefore, Serenity, Ninth Rising and Burnout have been given links out pages at the actual sites.

So, this week Polaris is going to be in lock down mode. I may actually put a “revamp” page up tomorrow depending on how I feel because it is driving me that nuts. My only problem would be if I for some reason did not finish in time, the fanlisting would be down for a while. We’ll see what happens, but do not be surprised if all of Polaris‘ content is randomly gone for a short period of time. Just about EVERYTHING is being completely redone, so it will be much better when it comes back.

I probably will not update anything else until Polaris is finished unless I get an approval from adoptions between now and then. We’ll see what happens~

Some More Random Updates

IRISBLADE.ORG got a new layout a week or so ago, I just forgot to post about it (again). I plan on rewriting my sibling descriptions next time I change the layout and maybe adding descriptions back to my network page. Still no projects page since I technically do not have any at the moment.

DESTINY CHAIN received a new layout a few days ago because the other one had been on for almost a year. Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate anyone translating any recent manga chapters since it has been licensed, so it will not be updated again until I either find a translation group, or it comes out in America. I reorganized things a bit and corrected some typos, but that is about it for this site until further notice.

HEARTPLACE is technically open to view, but I will not make an official post about this until later since I still have to finish the opinion section of the information pages. There is some media and factual/basic stuff about their relationship, but you should wait to view it unless you want to join the fanlisting. It has been added to my fanlistings page, but will not be added to my network page on the domain until it is completed.

ANOTHER SIDE has been brought up to date with any layout additions missing previously.

From here on out I will be working on Polaris. I do not know how long it will take me, and I have no idea if I’ll have time to work on anything else before college starts. Either way I’m trying not to worry about it either way. Things will come as I can do them, but I guess I can no longer pump out tributes like I used to…

Bah, is summer over yet?

It seems like I have less time to work on sites now that it is summer than I did during the year. Jeeze… I probably won’t be able to get as much done as I would have liked, but I am trying to update when I can.

REFLECTING HEAVEN has a new layout and linkage button. Since everything is pretty much finished on this now, it is going to be basically static from here on out other than fanlisting updates.

THE GATE has the multimedia section uploaded. I am currently working on the other two sections, so hopefully I will be able to finish this relatively soon.

I still really want to fix up Polaris…

I’m Back!

Hey guys! I’m finally starting to get back into the swing of web design again, finally. I actually felt like working on things again, and I’m glad to have the feeling back. Unfortunately, work and American Legion Band still cut heavily into my free time right now. I’ll try my best to keep updates coming when possible though.

BURNOUT has a new layout and I have cleared through a few links. I was going to add some more avatars or screenshots, but I did not feel like working anymore on this after the stupid vector for the layout took me forever (and it doesn’t even look that good). A new member has been added to the fanlisting as well as five donated codes.

HYMNARIA has a new layout and all image borders have been converted to CSS. I added a few new 100×100 avatars, fixed up a couple informational things, added Mieu to the comrades page and added the cameos and merchandise pages. Very exciting, I know. I cleared through my links since a bunch of things have died off and added a new linkage button. This took me most of the day that I did not spend on Burnout, so yeah.

I have a few more layouts to put up as well as some content additions to things to do before I get started on Polaris’ revamp. After that I may consider making a new project, we’ll see what time permits.

Quick Updates

GLACIALIS has been downsized a bit, not that there was much to begin with. It has a new layout, a few new codes (including some donated ones from quite some time ago I forgot to add), a few more images and has also been converted to CSS as well as had an affiliates clean out. Unless I randomly am inspired to indulge myself in Digimon Tamers, this will probably remain untouched now for the most part. :\

Changing Things Around

Well, first things first.

HYDRANGEA is the approved fanlisting to Takani Megumi from Rurouni Kenshin. I was going to make this into a small tribute as well, but just the fanlisting will do for now. Her fanlisting kept getting closed and removed so I wanted to have it to stop that cycle since she is my favorite female character from the series. However, I still have Sanosuke to worry about before I consider doing anything more with this, but there is a small gallery and some introductory type information in the about page. In other news, I have decided to wipe all of my projects. I have not really felt like working on anything I have had planned at all, and so I doubt I will feel like it any time soon. I feel really bad about things like Tezuka and Kyon x Haruhi since I have been planning them for a while, but I just do not feel like working on them right now even though I love them a lot. I may be motivated to work on them someday, but for now they will not be coming any time soon. Layla and Shinjiro are the only things that will definitely be around eventually from my old projects page. (Sanosuke is included, he’s just technically on “hiatus” not a project).

I do not really have any new projects in mind for the very near future. I really want to focus on fixing some of my current websites for a while (like Kratos *twitch*) so we will see where that takes me. I am also now working full time for the summer, so I won’t have as much time as I had planned either. Do not worry though, I will get some stuff done! Tomorrow I will update with an update for Glacialis. Even though I really wanted to fix it up into something a lot nicer, I just do not have the time to rewatch Tamers as of right now, and therefore it is going to be downsized to the way Hydrangea is pretty much. I do not want to let go of the fanlisting because she is still a very important character to me.

Hopefully I will feel more motivated now that I have cleared a lot off my plate. I have some new layouts and media to upload to various things as well as have that Kratos revamp to take care of and I still need to do the Lloyd x Colette fanlisting. More updates soon!
